Man is that ever true. Gotta keep 'foreign' plants and soil out of a 'clean' op and and keep it from getting bugs by making sure your clothes/shoes etc are bug free... vacuum often along the path to the grow op, can help a bit.

I've used the 'Sorcerer' brand miticide before- and only have had to use it once. Good thing, too, as the maker advises using it only once a year to avoid mites building a resistance. Follow the instructions for food crops. If that brand isn't available in your area, look for something with the active ingredient 'abamectrin', which is also known by several other names in other parts of the planet.

If you are using epsom salt, how much do you add to your water for a folar spray?
