how are out kids and grand kids gonna grow in a generation where most ppl only care for them selfs.

we gta go back to the times where every1 raised every. the men need to man up and put away the guns and start raising there kids cos any fool with a dick can make a baby but it takes a real man to raise one who are kids going to look up to and how can they follow by example without a father figure?

if we dnt go back to the ways where we all raise these people and look after every1 and every1 looks after us then we will just slowly die out and the earth will become hell.

Ppl need to change there ways of thinking how are we survive life if we cant even raise our kids. prisons are overloaded with ppl. most kids come from broken homes. if we dotn raise this kids who will? social services? the goverment? then when there 16 livign a life of crime theyll be called a mistake by the goverment and a let down.

its just seems the ppl who care about these thigns only talk the time to talk is over we need to man up and realise itsd not them thats killing us its us thats killing us, the world is nieave(sp?) and we need to realise this.

you walk aroudn and see all these ppl all these beautifull ppl with screwfaces. wheres the smiles? theres none just tears.

we all need hope cos if you aint got hope you might as well get the 1st plane ticket to hell now.

im sorry if i blabbered on but ppl only read the headlines, ppl r in prison for smokign somethign that cumes out the ground and all the medical research goes towards 80 year olds with hard ons.

well i do agree with most of the stuff youve mentioned as being wrong. The war on drugs, or as i call it the war on me, wastes billions of dollars a year, money which could help the real problems this nation such as poverty. Poverty is destroying this country, it seems like if your not white the goverment could give a fuck less about you. The police are racist in the inner-city, they harrash the fuck out of you if your not white, they assume your a drug dealer or criminal if your black or in my case puerto rican. And dont let me get started with the police in the suburbs, they see a minority and they go wild, asking what your doing in this neighborhood, and generally just giving nasty looks. The only minority they like is the ones showing off for the white cops(like colin powell) or the ones in jail. I think minorities have to take some responsibility, like theres huge amounts of kids growing up with out dads, i was one of them, men have to be men and raise their kids or at the very least pay child support. And the goverment is making the situation worse taking away all the welfare, they are destroying families, now mothers have to work up to 2 full time jos to raise a family, that leaves them no time for the kids, its awful.

Well a lot of people do think about themselves and that wrong. You can think about yourself but please think of others too. Its shallow to be "me me me" all the time and most people are just like that.

As for parents that need to be a better example for children...thats true too. But there is alot of good parents out there and I am glad to know it. As for my parents...well they havent raised me the best way but they did try. My mother is alittle off her cooco, but raised us the way her parents raised her. My dad...well he hasent raised me all that well but I know he wanted too. He loves me ALOT and even though we have had some conflict I love him just the same.

Here's my buck and a quarter's worth: There's definitely too much suffering because of poverty. Without a doubt. But I also think that the reason it seems like there's nothing but despair is because the media tends to focus on all the negativety in the world. It thrives on the misery of others. Problems should not be swept under the rug, but what if the news took half of it's air time and dedicated it to the wonderful, positive things that happened today?

There are still great ppl in the world. There is still charity and kindness, it just seems like you have to look a little harder for it. Take ppl from this site for example, Hempheadjack giving away his handmade pipes, all the ppl who give away seeds, the folks that make avatars for others...simple but generous acts that occur around us everyday.

Not to just blow sunshine and roses up everyone's ass, but sometimes we have to appreciate little things to keep focused and happy. The world is good and will stay that way as long as we all remember to treat everyone else the way we want to be treated.

I'll now put my soapbox in the garage next to Ghost's.

good point just look at all the money raised by people for the tsunami that speaks volume. we need more ppl like this i know bad ppl give good ppl a bad name. but we just need to be a close race againwe all need to be 1 big family regardless of race, sex and sexuality.
