ladies, was your dad a good father? bad? It could make all the difference.
Seems just too Freudian for comfort, doesn't it? In the last article I was reading about that tendency to select mates who resemble our father and/or families is actually driven by an evolutionary desire to maintain our genetics into the next generation. If we choose someone who looks like our dads, we're more likely to perpetuate the family "look" and keep those dominant physical genes going than if we choose someone who bears no family resemblance.
