ladies, was your dad a good father? bad? It could make all the difference.
My dad was an exceptional dad, and my husband is an amazing husband. I'm sure the fact that I had a good and loving dad inifluenced my choice of a good and loving husband. Physically, they have similarities, particularly in coloring (dark hair and olive skin) and facial characteristics (handsome), but my dad's about five inches shorter than my husband. I've read in several places that if you're affectionately disposed toward your family, you tend to unconsciously select mates who bear a physical resemblance to them.
Happy Father's Day, Dad and Dave. I love you both so much.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
