I've heard many a time on these forums and others that weed leads to enlightenment (sp?) a creative mid and i just read "cresistence to the man" although i dont remember who said it.

When i think back to the pre-weed days i remember being very naive when it came to certain things. Mostly things that were on the news and in news papers regarding Goverment, Englands and other countires included. At the time i either didn't take an interest or i just believed it.

Now, however i find myself doubting everything i see and read. I wonder why one sotry may get a hell of alot more exposure than another, maybe more important one. For instance, Englands part in the war in Iraq has been widely documented in the uk however, tha fact that we still had soldiers in Afghanistan was something i only saw on the news somewhere in the region of six months ago. Of course i could of just missed those news reports or not read a paper that day. But that happens very rarely.

I doubt the official story from 9/11, although i did the instant i saw the footage of the towers falling. I doubt the "ofiicial" story of the Lonond Tube Bombings. This is something i acutaly believed for a short while but after reading other articles on the event and the account of a survivior i changed my mind. It's just come to my mind though that few of the things that "surivivors" who were interviewed shortly after the attacks didn't add up.

So i wonder, is this down to weed? Has it Enlightened me, has it given me resistence "to the man", or is this paranoia?
