more advanced / detailed profiles

I second this...or third it....it really would help us have a better understanding and a firmer grasp of the people who make up this stoner community we inhabit.

i agree...but not too too detailed...i really don't want that much personal info about me out there on a stoner site. but i do think that maybe just a couple more optional things to answer to give a better sense of the person would be good, i have no idea what though

You guys do realize that just because more options were to open up as far as a more detailed profile is concerned... that doesnt mean you actually have to put details in there... you can leave it just as blank, boring and bare as they are now if you desire to remain relatively anonymous.

And this isnt going to turn into Mycannaspace because its not a personals site... its a marijuana forum.

well yeah, but for the people who do fill out some profile info, we would potentially be able to know just a bit more, and could get to know our fellow stoners a bit better just a thought. personally, it doesn't matter one way or the other to me. if it happens, it happens. if it doesn't, that's ok too.

I agree with you, my dear. I was just compelled to mention that for all the people that seemed to think that more options in personal profiles meant the end of cannadot as we know it.. its just absurd.

I personally dont care.. Ill put my first and last name AND the zipcode where I live, I couldnt care less. Im not worried about cops, and Im used to stalkers. I think its a great idea as well. The more time I spend on here, the more I love the people who populate it. Knowing more about them would make it that much more of an intimate experience. I have all but forsaken Myspace... what a fuckin nightmare that place is.

Well, the suggestions you gave in your first post were pretty lame, no offense. Leaving comments? Seeing who left them? Sounds like the rep system that we already have.

You can't just shoot a suggestion in the dark. Sundance needs something to go off of, and basically it sounds like you've suggested another rep system.

No but it feels that way, and what you said was hypocritical to me because you want avatars an extra 1cm bigger which makes no different at all and i want more detailed profiles so everyone knows each other better but that just my opinion.
