need some adviceI have been living with this girl for about 2 years and we have a child (8 months old.. Dakota Rayne..)together. and just a few weeks ago, i got custody of my other daughter(4 yrs old..Skyla Shine) from another relationship.
I was shiting rainbows when i knew i was getting custody of my other daughter...she (my 4 yr old ) has been through alot.. I talked it over with the girl i'm with now, and everthing sounded good.."i'm happy for you" she says..
Now that she is here... 2 weeks... she tells me that she thinks it is more then she can handle!!!! that my discipline is weak. ( i have had VERY little contact with my 4 yr old daughter in two years)..." she keeps pulling out toys that Dakota Rayne is going to choke on... " " she will not put up her toys when she is done"..... I'm working with her.. i'm just glad to see her.. hell, she could slap me in the face with a turd... and i would SMILE.
She is willing to end our relationship over this.. is it me or.... need some adviceShe's probably just overwhelmed. Two little ones under the age of four, with one an infant, is a huge job. And she probably is justifiably worried about choking hazards with an infant at the stage where she puts everything in her mouth. She's also naturally biased in favor of her own infant and will have to have some time to adjust to having another child in the household that isn't her own birth-child.

Help your girlfriend. Help keep Skyla well guided, no matter how much you want to spoil her and let her do whatever she wants. If she's been through a lot, she likely hasn't had much in the way of structure or boundaries, and kids need those things. And above all, work hard at keeping that relationship together. You have two little children who need two stable, loving, in-residence parents. It wouldn't be fair to you or to either of those babies for one of you to bail out. Good luck!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
