Pre-Screen Drug and Physical DOT...

My question is on the entry Drug Screen & Physical DOT exam do you get to urinate first(to substitute)before the physical(where they grab you balls and tell you to cough)and has any one had to endure the physical first then have to sub the urine next? I have not located these answers on here prior to asking. All is appreciated in advance.

Ok ya'll 32 hits and this one has everybody confused or what? I know someone has to know the answer. Are there any CDL holders on here available? Somebody has to know something?

Sorry, I spent 2 hours yesterday arguing with someone about fructose in urine in the stickies above. I saw this thread and it is hard to know what they will do first. You shouldn't be observed but the problem is what will they do first, get your sample or do the physical. The problem is obvious but I don't think that what order they do things is set in writing. I know people who hid their sub, had to get in a gown, and still were able to hide it until they used their sample.

What time is the appointment? Well, regardless of the answer to that I'd just tell the doc that I really had to pee RIGHT then -- as in you cannot hold it for another moment. That I'd been holding it because sometimes it's difficult for me to pee on command ( shy bladder syndrome -- but don't diagnose it yourself just describe it -- last thing you need is a prescription for something you don't have. ). Tell him that you've been holding it since you woke up (depending on if its in the morning) or that you just had various cups of coffee/water to speed along the process. In short, lie your ass off -- theres nothing more important than getting that clean piss into the cup. Good luck!

FakeBoobsRule: I understand what you are sayin' and I know it is truly a toss up on what they will do first. It is also great to know that you can get away with it still regardless but it seems really hard.

Geekedupgirl: I don't have a schedule yet but within the next week. I know what you mean about telling him/her I have to go real bad. I have been thinking about different approaches. I agree that the pee-pee dance might be the magic move-that is too funny:bigsmoke:.

I'm a CDL holder and I've had 2 DOT physicals and neither doctor ever did the nut grab routine. I don't know for sure, but I would assume if that was part of the DOT requirement they would have done it to me. But like I said, I don't know for sure so I'd feel bad if I said "they don't do that", then they do and find ur QF.

As for the order of how things go...hmm I have a bad memory and I was clean at the time so I didn't even think to remember something like that....but I do think I took the piss test after the physical. The last time I went the doc made me run in place for about a minute to check my blood pressure....that kinda movement might knock loose the QF bottle so I'd make sure you have it extra secure.

I've never had to use QF for a DOT drug test by the way, but I do have a bottle just in case I get one of those randoms....

Thanks Nailhead - I have some of those swimming shorts that have the little pocket built on the inside of the shorts - a net like pocket with a secure cover flap over it. I think I will just prepare to really have it hidden like you all suggest.

I was thinking today and wondering about just hiding it in ur sock, I mean you would want to heat it up beforehand n all, but I would think that would be a pretty safe place to store. I mean it's not like they search you, the most they do is have me empty my pockets, so I was thinking just putting it in your sock would be a safe place cause the bottle is small and it wouldn't fall out as easily as if it was hidden somewhere else. But I haven't tested this so I don't know if the temp would drop too much, but I know when I go to take the test the time from between when I go from the car in the parking lot to the bathroom usually isn't more than 20 or 30 minutes. Would the temp be able to drop much in that time?

I like to keep it in the pouch of briefs like fruit of the loom, which places it right under the boys....I then tighten My belt a extra loop and pull My under ware up tight with a front wedgie and flapped the under ware over My belt and wear a t-shirt un-tucked. It was so easy to open My zipper and get it out and pour it and put it right back there. I walked all over and it never moved. Make sure You place it in the pouch pour side up.
