I have read articles regarding some professional growers keeping a 'Mother' plant alive for several years - it sounded like an 'intensive care' situation after the first couple of years - constant partial harvesting could also stress it to turn male, and, you would eventually get tolerant of virtually any strain - it's an interesting idea, though - the few OLD plants I have seen growers keep, were virtually 'pets', plants that were kept out of curiosity, just to see how old they can get - it seems to take a 'pro' to keep them healthy beyond the first couple years, maybe more work, than fun :jointsmile:
