questions for the veteran growers
would it be possible to grow one plant at a time, over the course of your entire life, that supplies you with your constant personal stash?
i've heard you can get 10 ounces out of one plant, and i think that could last one person quite awhile.
i'm just thinking for later on, if a person found the "ideal" strain for him or her, could that person just grow one plant at a time of the same strain, and be set over a lifetime, able to still get as high as desired without tolerance setting in?darklyscanner Reviewed by darklyscanner on . questions for the veteran growers would it be possible to grow one plant at a time, over the course of your entire life, that supplies you with your constant personal stash? i've heard you can get 10 ounces out of one plant, and i think that could last one person quite awhile. i'm just thinking for later on, if a person found the "ideal" strain for him or her, could that person just grow one plant at a time of the same strain, and be set over a lifetime, able to still get as high as desired without tolerance setting in? Apart from the quantity issues and risk of getting a male if you only germ one beanling. You would build up a tolerance quite quickly if you only smoke the same strain. Personally I feel a tolerance after smoking an ounce for a few days.Grow a couple of strains & if you end up with extra you can always store it or pass it on to friends.

questions for the veteran growers
I have read articles regarding some professional growers keeping a 'Mother' plant alive for several years - it sounded like an 'intensive care' situation after the first couple of years - constant partial harvesting could also stress it to turn male, and, you would eventually get tolerant of virtually any strain - it's an interesting idea, though - the few OLD plants I have seen growers keep, were virtually 'pets', plants that were kept out of curiosity, just to see how old they can get - it seems to take a 'pro' to keep them healthy beyond the first couple years, maybe more work, than fun

I'm not saying its impossible, but it would take some experience and pretty good genetics to achieve this. I've been doing this for going on 10 years now and I'm still struggling sometimes to get my gram per watt goal. But a heavy yielding strain and some really good loving care and its totally achieveable
