Well, at least could i get a reason?
Im not questioning your authority or whatever, I just didnt find anything in the post to be offensive or inflammatory which puzzled me a bit.
I know there were parts of it about fighting but i was not condoning violence nor was i glorifying it or lying about it, i was relaying what happened a fewhours ago.

Fighting and broken bottles over heads
Running away from an approaching police officer

Great story for your friends via email, maybe. But it really wasn't cannabis-focused. And it certainly didn't reflect positively on cannabis users or advocates as peaceful, intelligent types whose behavior inspires in others a desire to rethink their attitudes about cannabis. It only perpetuated the classic stereotype of cannabis users/believers as losers.

I'd have deleted it, too.

I mean, OK, but i just find it somewhat ridiculous that i couldnt post a story about a crazy ass night. Is the site to the point where you cannot even post a narrative without having to edit out questionable "events"? We werent raping and pillaging, it was a few people drinking some JD and having a jolly time, at least until the fight broke out... its whatever, theres nothing i can do about it, but the censorship of a damn story (not even condoning the type of behavior included) is just flat out laughable to me... Im not gonna leave the site or get in a spat with a mod or something, i still love the site, i was just giving my :twocents:. If someone wants to pull a del... on me and ban me, i guess so be it, but this post is not meant to be inflammatory or offensive. just a personal opinion.

You still don't get it though do you? This is a CANNABIS site, therefore sundance. himself wants it to remain just that. If your story involved nothing but cannabis, there wouldn't be a problem posting it. It's not so much censorship as it is abiding by RULES man...

The only way you'd get banned is if you broke the rules, not if a mod has a personal vendetta and is out to get you.

And besides, birdgirl was right. It was made in bad taste and is better left to be forgotten. :jointsmile:

Everyone on this site, members and mods alike, are in agreement that alcohol is a far more dangerous substance, and it has the added disadvantage of making folks look like far worse fools, too.

Again, you're certainly welcome to spread the tales of your last-night adventures far and wide. You have email and IM and no doubt other electronic methods at your disposal. So your first-amendment rights haven't been trampled on by any means. It's just a matter of our using our discretion about leaving visible cannabis-related threads which reflect well on this site, its members, their judgment, and, ultimately, which deliver the best reflection on our advertisers, too.
