How much time have you spent in France, Bruekelen? Because I'm betting it's not a single day. Not even a moment. If you'd had exposure to their culture or others, you'd know that people of both genders tolerate crap from members of the opposite sex all over the world. It has to do with what some folks'll put up with--and whether they want a relationship that's about the extremes of love-hate chaos or one that's about respect and affection.

Many of us here--male and female included--have long believed you're the one who needs to be trained in correct behavior toward both genders, frankly. I have not yet seen evidence that you respect anyone other than yourself, not males or females. And judging from the numerous behind-the-scenes comments that come in via emails, rep comments and PMs in response to your posts (this one ought to bring in a deluge), I would bet serious money that a whole lot more women actually dropped you.

I was reading your other thread where you announced that you wanted life (along with cigarettes and joints) given to you for free and didn't really want to work or take any initiative to get what you want. You blamed your frustration and lack of motivation on a hurtful world.

It just made me think, after reading that other thread, that you probably don't have to worry about falling under the spell of any woman, manipulative or otherwise, at least not until that give-me-something-for-nothing attitude passes. For your sake, I hope it does!

I am sure it probably stems from some childhood BS. People like games..and their favorite is cat and mouse...only really want something that you have to work for. The easy stuff..is just...well...easy.

It stems from alot of things, namely self-confidence and upbringing, but I think one of the main reasons is this:

We're goal-oriented. If something is easy to get, then we don't want it anymore. If something is hard to get, it makes us want it more. If someone is treating you shitty, you'll try as hard as you can to make them like you.

As much as I hate to admit it, it helps to be kind of a jerk to your girlfriend sometimes, at least at first, if you actually like her. Girls will try and control you, and if they're too successful, they'll lose respect for you. It's part of the default female head-game programming. :-\

I cant wait until our species has evolved past this. Well... the REST of our species.
