    GH flora series

A buddy gave me a few gallons of GH flora series (all 3 bottles). I was wondering if i could use it in soil? If so, do I follow the ratios' on the bottle:jointsmile:

    Sure-

You want to follow the ratios on the bottle, but I'd cut the dosage per gallon back at least until I got a feel for how the plants responded as the soil dries out between waterings. The evaporative concentration of salts in the media between feed cycles isn't as high in hydro as it can be in soil- you rarely let a hydro media dry out as much as you do soil.

GH Flora at full strength might be a little hot as the soil dries out- see how it goes.

I'd also water till pretty good run-off every once in a while, to flush out any mineral salt deposits that may have built up.

I don't know if anybody has FAQd it, but there's a really popular dosing variation of the GH specifically for our favorite plant called the " Lucas Formula" - google would probabley get you there. Called for using much lower doses of the green, I don't remember what else.
I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve
    From doctors we trust.

Rhizome's got you covered man. The lucas formula is 1 part micro to 2 parts bloom. Save on the grow but if you got it use it. I didn't see a lot of difference, just saves money. Like he said just flush with water every now and then. It will build up in soil. Great nutes though.

I have been using GH in soil my last grow.Rhizome say it, use 1/2 dosage per gal.I feed once a week and water 3 times before feeling again. The soil you use makes a big diffidence too.Dont use any soil with time release fertilizer in it,and add more peralite to the soil too. When flowering started I would let the soil dry out one exta day before I fead them.then water after they dry out.I only got up to raising the nutrs to about 3/4 to 7/8's of whats on the lable before they finished.I flush them three times,Once in the middle of veg, once two weeks into flowering, and at the end of flowering. It worked for me. PEACE

Since I've already recomended it twice today, might as well make it 3. Another VERY good formula:
