What is your defanition of a gangsta?

Id wouldent say Five O (50cent) was gangsta back in the day, But a wise street Hustler. He was running major crack deals, running a whole strip in jamica queens, driving mercs at early age, having lots of money etc..

i wasnt grown up in the "hood" but i know that a lot of times gangs are the only way, cuz there are some places in cali for instance that if you wear the wrong color your dead so you need that protection... also a lot of the hustlers, thats just what they grow up around and for lack of better words thats what they know best....
a lot of rappers are fake as fuck these days, but who the hell cares?? as long as they make good music and their lyrics are tight who cares?? they are makin their money just like the rest of us but a lot more of it...
