And also, ya were are confusing poverty with being gangster, being poop just makes you poor, it doesn't mean your tough or you can beat anyone up, it just means that you can tolerate things that people of higher income would not. Being gangster, means you are a badass mothafuka who will kill anybody that gets in the way of making money, weather you were poor or rich doesn't matter, althought most individuals tend to come from poverty because its easier to get involved in crime and there is the street smartness. When 50 was coming up and becoming mainstream one of his songs on one of his very first albums was called ghetto quar'n and he talked about the stree life and how he used to do business. He also dropped a lot of names of colleagues he used to work with. Everyone in his old hood hates him and he won't even go back to visit because he's afraid. SO ya i guess he is a snitch. but he didnt rat to the police to get time off or anything.

well there is a lot of tough talk here.....I know for a fact that fifty pennies would scare the shit out of most of you silver spoon fed white kids... I dislike his music...his movie was OK. I am not bragging but anyone who is from the hood is scary as shit. when you are dealing with people who have to hustle to live ...not live to hustle , you will understand. I tried that life twice years ago and recently... take it from an old retired grown ~G~ it is not glamorous or fun....anyone who wants my old grind down Fulton industrial at club wax can have it.....I would give most of you five minutes tops before you ran scared...the rest would not even get out of your cars......... 2pac was not gangster he was poor....he had a hustle for a minute but so do most people that grow up like him....then he got established and made a little money and had a lot of real gangster friends.....and anyone who thought that shit between him and Biggie was real.... is a fool..it was publicity for the most part.

People with a ghetto mentality tend to spend all of their money by wearing gold jewelry and driving expensive cars - they don't save for the future. The smarter "rappers" that come from not-so-bad to good economic backgrounds, and even some that came up from poverty, act like this in public - but have other investment plans behind the scenes. If they took off the gold and ditched the slum-orientated "glamor" their fans, including middle-class wannabe kids, wouldn't be interested anymore. That's why the whole thing is dishonest and stupid. I'm sorry to say that a lot of it started in the city that I grew up in, including Murder Inc. and other organized crime.

Lil Wayne is a gangster though cuz all he cares about is getting money. That the definition of a gangster in my opinion, not crips and bloods. Its not about the red or blue but more importantly the green.

i heard that lil wayne shot himself so he could look "gangsta". like went as far as to research it. where he could shoot himself that would look good, but not kill him either. whoever told me that said that he admitted it in an interview somewhere. i dunno. but i think he's a fag anyway. always sounds like he's got his nose pinched shut.
