    Leaves

What is the purpose of marijuana leaves? Dont they just use up energy?

Is it ok to cut them so that the buds get more light and energy?

    Thanks

No, they MAKE energy. WEll, to be precise they turn light energy into potential energy (C-C bonds in sugar chains). The plant uses it later. Leave them alone.

Definetly dont cut leaves off, theyre useful for life of the plant , maybe at the later stages of budding, if they are blocking the light from the single bud leaves, or try leave folding.

Only cut the bottom leaves when you have a large grow and they're not getting any light. This way, you'll get more air circulation through the plants.
