    Growing spots

Could you guys recommend me places that are safe to grow? I live near a nature trail where I get blaze with a couple of friends. No one ever goes there I was just wondering if it would be safe. I've never seen another human being in the nature trail for the past 6 years that I've been living there. I've even made an attempt to grow in my room by having the plant right beside the window but it got destroyed by stoner spiders

I would love to hear other suggestions of growing spots.:rastasmoke:

dont grow it right on the trail obviously, go into the woods or forest if their is any somewhere ayway from anywhere a person wandering would go, bear in mind if its a nature trail their might be rangers or wardens that upkeep the area so it might not be suitable, but like serpentine said its your call

Sides of railroad tracks are a good spot rarely poeple around and usually clear for plenty of sun.

In my experience nature trails aren't good because they don't get much sunlight ("trails" are usually through woods, with trees that block the sun). MJ will die without enough sun. MJ will grow well wherever grasses grow well... typically fields, powerlines, beside relatively wide railroad tracks, etc. In fact, a good thing to look for is whether or not grass is growing well naturally where you're going to put your plant. If it is then you're probably going to be getting enough sunlight there.

You want at least 4-5 hours of sun a day on your plant.... but MJ will take all the sun you can give it. The sun moves about 4 fingers in an hour if you hold your hand one arm's length away from your eyes with your fingers facing you. Use that trick to estimate how much "clear sky" a spot has.

If you're going to grow outside make sure it is in a spot where people don't go often, and if they did go there they would still have a hard time seeing your plants. I also suggest googling "self-watering setup" and doing something to make sure your plants don't need watering too often... that way even if they plants do get busted, you likely won't be there when the cops are. And you won't be leaving a trail every couple of days as you bring water to the plants.

    redeyed is right.
Add to that under high-tension lines, particularly if it is clear that they have already been brush-hogged that year.

Well if you insist on growing in or near this feild, which I fully understand because some spots are just to good not to try, do it in a spot that is way the hell off the beaten path surrounded by thorns poison ivy and all that good stuff. People and even deer for that matter will take the path of least resistance, So even if some one finds their way back there they will be, most likely, more worried about getting the hell out of there than RIPPIN' you off. Just be carefull not to let any body see you heading to this spot because no matter what some one will wonder what the heck your up to. Good luck and be carefull:greenthumb:.

Well now that you have a trail, it's time to explore. Try to find a stream, river, creek, something for a water source or you're going to get tired of this real quick. Now try to find a place near the body of water that will get the most light. Grab a shovel, axe, hoe, and get to work, clear how ever much space you need, space your plants 1-2 feet apart. Maybe get creative and make an irrigation system, dig some kind of stream from the river or something to your grow area, don't forget to cover it up with some dead foliage. If you can't dry the product indoor, build a box.
