Honestly, while the idea is nice in principle, it can easily be abused, much like the "warn" feautre in AIM, which eventually was axed do primarily to immaturity. I personally have my rep disabled because someone blackmarked me because of a difference in opinion. While I'm vain enough to hide the glaring red, I'm not too vain to go trolling for points with clever or witty posts/replies in every new thread just to boost it up to green. But I'm close....

Question about Rep - for a mod I've interacted in a very positive way with another user here and on one of my posts he sent me Rep along with a "thank you" for some info I gave him. But the box next to his comment on my user control panel is black, not green. Does black not signify negative rep? This particular user has less than two weeks membership. Does the black box have anything to do with this? Rating: 5
