Twins? Anyone Seen This Bfore?
I swear only one seed went into that cup! Soil wasn't recycled either. Should I let em both go? Any other plant, and it'd be considered a "sucker" and get yanked, but here I'm not so sure.
This is day 3 since planting straight after soaking in water about 12 hours...2 x NL, 2 x NLX (GSA), 2 x WR. I think after poor germination (and low female)rates with homegrown LR2 that the professional seeds are worth the $.
Finally, after getting males, hermies and a bunch of duds, I got a girl LR2, but now I don't remember exactly what day I planted, 5/22? So I'll say it's....day....mmm...21.loose id Reviewed by loose id on . Twins? Anyone Seen This Bfore? I swear only one seed went into that cup! Soil wasn't recycled either. Should I let em both go? I have twins growing right now. It's the third pair in less than 3 years. I think they are pretty cool, and always let them go, but I train them apart from each other. Who DOESN'T love twins?

Yepp, commercial gene pool keeps getting smaller, weird reproductive anomalies get more frequent...
Stinky, just cause I'm curious, were your twins showing up along a single line ( daughters of a single male that you'd pollinated) or is this starting to show up in commercial breeder lines?
Also, how well matched were phenos of twins? Seem like single male sample + multiple ovum, or zygote split?
Normally I'd assume that somebodies " twins" were the result of reaping what they sow, so to speak, but your technique's pretty clean ( ya geek).I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve
From doctors we trust.

Rhizome, the twins that stinky got were from:
1 unknown bagseed- croaked due to nOObness
1 Akita freebie (anna C x stankonia) from seedboutique- the twins were IDENTICAL, beautifully matched, healthy, and both females.
1 Northen Lights growing atm from the Nirvana Standard line. These twins are certainly NOT identical.
I have never had twins in my own line. The closest I can say I have come to a mutant in my stuff is a leaf profile that is nearly triangular. Pics are in the foxysox log. It's a nice looking plant.

Wow, it's reasssuring to know there are other mutants out there. I was just wondering if the roots will tangle and kill them off...but it sounds like they'll be okay.
Yes, who DOESN'T love twins...but as in my own unfortunate life, I can't be the meat in their sandwich either!
That twin is Growshop Alien's NLX...in case anyone's keeping tabs on these anomolies! Hopefully I'll be able to show you some mature pictures later on.
