A cool tube would work great in that setup. These lights use what is called a MOG socket, it's about 1" round and ceramic. The voltage to run HID lights is about 277v A/C. A 6" vortex fan can provide room exhaust and take the hot air out of the hood to keep things very cool. You would need a "Y" adapter and even a damper to use one fan for 2 jobs but that is not to expensive and east to setup.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . reflector ? i gots a cool cab from sunlight sheds and they didnt send the reflector. i got the 600 watt hps 6 inch bulb though....and i was wondering if any 6 inch reflector would work, and the bulb would screw right in, or if i would have to get a "special" one for my bulb. i dont want to buy one seperate of the inet and have it not fit my bulb, that would suck! and is air cooled recomended for my bulb?...thats what it wouldve came with....but i dont know if its needed or not? any help is Rating: 5
