    That's heresy!

But Bob Denver did do a good version with Maynard
    G. Krebs on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis show. He was working as a Catholic Scool teacher, and researched the Beats. Ironically, he needed medical marijuana when he got older, and was busted for mailing it to, or getting in the mail from, another former cast-member of Gilligan's Island. I remember one episode of Dobie Gillis where he played a cool jazz trumpet, trouncing Dobie, who was playing a gimmicky triple-neck guitar, in a talent show.

Blue collar guys who spend each weekend sewing beads and feathers on to their Gawdy costumes. This as well as practicing their dance moves, all to do a 5 minute show in front of the judges on New Years Day! Imagine the Sopranos meet Stonewall :hippy: See... weed is harmless. and funny... I think the world needs more hippies.... RISE OF THE HIPPY. Rating: 5
