    I cannot believe this.

I'm 16 and my mom found out I smoked weed, and she is mad as hell at me, we're fighting so much, she says I have to move out of her house if I don't stop, and my grandma says the same thing because she lives on our property, and my dad is pissed as well. They don't understand why I do it, no matter what I tell them, they just do not understand, they think it is so bad. She took me to the hospital, since we have some family problems, and I have a bad temper sometimes, and she took me in and they drug tested me and I tested positive. The doctors there said not to smoke marijuana anymore, and that it is illegal and wrong and that it is a depressant, and I am taking an anti-depressment called Paxil and she says by me smoking marijuana the medicine (paxil) is not working. And now she says she is going to drug test me for now on, and I do not want to quit smoking, I love it, and I don't know what to do, I'm so stressed out about it. When I have to piss in a cup, I do it in private in a bathroom, if I had someone piss in a cup before I went there, and took the drug test anywhere from 3-6 hours after the person pissed in a cup for me, would the piss be alright to use? What else can I do, and has this ever happened to you guys?

    Thanks.

im just gonna say your probly gonna have to respect their rules, you live in their house, they feed you and clothe you and all that shit...

and if you do continue to smoke don't do it in the house because that will really get them pissed off...

If they are really gonna kick you out then you pretty much have to follow the rules

you could buy a bunch of quick fix 4.0 and try to pass the tests until she believes you

since they're all pissed and say you have to move out if you don't stop, my advice is to stop. but if you feel like you really want to keep smoking, then smoke only every once in awhile. maybe once a week, or once every two weeks, if that much even. i wouldn't advise trying pass a drug test with someone else's piss, because if they found out you'd be in a hell of a lot of trouble i'm sure.

i was caught by my parents two years ago, and it was bad, but i was 18 then, and i moved out of the house and off to school a month after i got caught anyways. i still smoke, and my parents have no clue.

if you really want to try to pass a drug test with a substitution method, i recommend checking out the threads on drug testing. risky though, if they're gonna make you move out if you don't stop. might be best to stop for a bit, and pick it back up once things have calmed down.

I hate to say it, but I think you have to stop smoking, bite the bullet and do everything you can to get yourself financially self-sufficient by the time you're 18 so you can get the hell out of there. You don't want to put yourself at risk of getting kicked out of your house and financially cut off at the age of 16: smoking weed (which we all love!) isn't worth that.

Believe it. As much as it sucks, it is illegal, it is their house, and I am pretty sure they support you so you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Many of us have been there before. I was never threathened with getting kicked out but I had a job by 15 and was a straight A student so it was a cat and mouse game. I smoked, they knew, I tried to hide it, they tried to catch me. It isn't hard to believe.

Quit for a while, work on the temper, and then maybe you can start back up.

Thats how my parents were. They would yell at me, threaten to kick me out, basically make me feel real guilty about smoking weed. It didn't stop me though, I kept toking. Every time I got caught or I looked stoned they used to flip out on me, telling me I was throwing my life away and how they are embaressed that their son is a drug 'addict'. They would also ground me for a week or two but sometimes even a month. After a good a while they stopped being such bitches and now all they do when they catch me smoking is take the bong or whatever device I am using and smash it without saying a word.

They even joke around with me about it now...my mom went to jamacia a few months ago and she took a picture of a big pot plant some rasta priest had growing in his back yard. She said she took the picture because she knew I would like it.

So bottom line, there is still hope, even though it may not seem like it. My parents used to be like how yours sound, but they have eased up a lot as I've gotten older and they realize there is no stopping me from doing what I want to do.

p.s. life is great when you move out.

That sucks, dude. Like the others said you probably just have to wait until you move out. Two more years until your 18, it's not too long.

Those doctors are lying to you. First of all, even if cannabis was strictly a depressant, anti-depressants are not the counterparts to depressants, stimulants are. The medication you are taking is an SSRI (Selective Seritonin Reuptake Inhibitor) and should not be effected in any way by you smoking marijuana, as MJ works on the dopamine system.
