If it's her property, she has a right to keep people off of it.

Not according to Scottish law, freedom to roam. And her property is too big, she's got 23 acres of land. Meanwhile, everyone else in the country is crammed into Stagecoach buses, well not everyone, you know what i mean.

Laws that exempt the rich, who'd have ever thought?

So this Right to Roam law allows anyone freedom to walk across your lawn whenever they feel like it? Hmm, living in Canada in a fair sized city this seems strange to me. Having never been to Scotland, I don't really know what the land is like but is it mostly countryside? If the place she lives is a historical building or heritage site then people should be allowed to visit the grounds, sort of like a park, maybe.

Actually I know in Newfoundland, nobody cares if you walk thru their lawn, just don't trample flowers and you're all good. Having someone walk through your yard because of the way the roads are set up is pretty common
