some people use weed to self-medicate. if they stop self-medicating, and a medical condition comes back, an ignorant observer might attribute the problem to "withdrawal".

nailhead, your post is intriguing. i think it's similar to the debate that started the 'FDA conspiracy theory' (FDA conspiracy theories - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) or the same thought process that got roosevelt to create the organization in the first place.
chantoke Reviewed by chantoke on . How long till withdrawal effects are noticeable? I used to smoke once every 2 weeks with friends, but since I started buying my own weed, I've smoked every day for the last 3 weeks with a day break in each week. Yesterday I had quite an intense session and visualised myself telling my parents I was a drug addict. I'd like to go on a week break, at least, just to make sure that I can without too much trouble. Have I been smoking long enough to produce ill effects like sweating and insomnia or does that only happen with very heavy users? Rating: 5
