smart people plz
This has got nothing to do with the thread - but it involves freezing.
Do you like beer?
Do you like refreshing sobets?
Then do what i do, make beer sorbet! Seriously, the beer wont completly freeze [or shouldnt] so you can eat it as a sorbet after whatever meal.
It's even better if you drink a beer with the meal and THEN have the pudding.

smart people plz
so i havnt done this lab yet because its not due yet haha, and ive been swamped with other research projects.
anyways, my lab partner did it and the hot water didnt freeze any faster than the cold water, but it did get to a certain cold temperature before the cold water could freeze.
if you dont understand..cold water was at x degrees farenheit and hot water was at y degrees farenheit. x didnt change too much in ten minutes but y changed drastically in the first ten minutes. once y reached reasonably or almost the same temp as x, it started to slow down and freeze at just about the same rate.
i know its kind of confusing but im stoned so sorry.
also i wonder why the results werent as predicted? there were no variables, everything was done very orthodoxed and strictly to regulation. who knows?

I think hot freezes faster because of it's higher oxygen content. Might be wrong.

apparantly it doesnt freeze faster than the cold, it just cools faster. then when they reach just about the same temp, the hot water slows down as far as low temperature rate goes, and they start freezing at the same speed.
