Busted, but VERY lucky...

So today I was pretty stoked when i woke up because i was heading to the local head shop later and get a bong.

It was really cool, 85 bucks with 20% off too. It had a sick ice catcher, a really nice round bottom and a huge down pipe. Me and my friends wanted to krisen it at the park we used to go to cus it was such a nice day. It was really chill, we got really blazed. So after about 45min of smoking and just laying back we decided to hit up TCBY. So i pack up the bong and head back to the car. When we got to the parking lot my friend warned us about a cop cruisen on the street parallel to us. I was like, what ever, its 4 in the afternoon there not going to shit.

Right as i get to the car he pulls in the parking lot, still im not really sweeting it and just enjoying my high... untill he pulls up right behind our car. At this point im not too worried, ive delt with cops many times and can talk my way out just about anything. He rolls down his window and askes whats in the bag. Now, if i wasent so stoned i could have came up with a good excuse, but i couldent. Now im thinking, fuck, im fucked, might as well own up to it cus i can tell this pig aint going to just dismiss my lack of an answer. So he and his partner, some chick, come out of there car and come over to us. I pull out the bong hoping there not going to search me if i just be cool about it. but then he starts searching my friend and im like damn. So he ends up finding about a quarter oz. of the best kush ive ever smoked. It was so good the chick cop even said shes never seen or SMELLED that much intense pot, her words exactly.(luckily i have a bit more at the house ) But now im really worried because i just turned 18 and if this guy wants he could fuck me up with that much weed. But i soon forget about that when my friend i guess keeped putting his hands in his pockets so the asshole cop HAND CUFFS him and goes on the lecture of how he dosent know if he has a weapon, and that he has a three year old kid, or some bullshit. So after that he starts taking all our information and i sort of try and play on his side and essentially sweet talk the cop saying how much this would screw me up in the future and i have a good scholarship at the school im going to, ect. So later on him and the female cop walk to there car and discuss our fate. Luckily i think the female cop convinced the guy to let us go and just get us on paraphernalia. They made me dump the weed in some bush and im seriously thinking about going up there and see if i could save some :rasta:.

But so yeah, all they got me on was the bong and let us go. I'm soooo glad. But i am still a little petrified from such a close call.

Just paraphernalia, i couldent find anywhere on the ticket of a price. I live in Texas, anyone know how much the ticket might be?

Why didn't you just say none of your business. The cop doesn't have the right to search you because you have a bag at a park....

Just go back man, they obviously know that the weed is there for you to pick up again, and it's not like they will be patrolling there nonstop.

If you're really paranoid then I suggest you go to the bush with a baggie, try to get as much in it as you can, then bury the baggie right there and walk away. Come back a couple days later and it should be good.

In fact, I would think that they told him to throw the weed in a bush, so that they can go back and take it, to smoke . Maybe even make some brownies out of it, and call 911 out of fear of dying from Marijuana.

Yeah, in fact my exact words when the cop asked what was in the bag i said it was nothing, and he said because your being suspicious walking real fast. plus i took the bubble rap of the bong and it was clearly in site if you walked up to me so i just sort of excepted the fact that i got caught and just hoped the guy would let me go because thats happened to me twice before and usually cops here tend to go after bigger fishes.

And like i said before, i was real stoned.

That sucks dude. The other day just after I bought a gram of weed I was standing on the side of the street trying to get a cab to go back to the train station so i could go home. As I'm waiting there a cop car pulls up right next to me. I freaked out!!! Luckily they drove passed me and moved on. But for a minute I thought I was busted.
