    Pest Question.

Short trails and spots- trails only a couple mm long at most- silvery- =thrips
Pyrethrin... plenty of pyrethrin products at home dePOT
spots will not heal but if you nip the problem right now the dam age will be mainly cosmetic. Don't let it get bad!!

    Pest Question.

I think sticky is right, snails eat holes and they don't stop.

Once you get them dealt with use Hot pepper wax spray every week or so and that will help keep pests away and does not alter the taste of the bud.
