Use the brown seeds.
Take a plastic cup, put the seeds in it, add enough water to get them wet but not cover them, cover the cup with plastic wrap, leave somewhere warmish and darkish until they split (check after 24h... it can be quick).
Plant 1/4" into your medium with the pointy white taproot DOWN.
Keep moist but not soggy.
