I played hide-and-seek a week and a half ago with my brother-in-law's 6-year-old nephew and their 7-year-old neighbor, who were under my care for a time while their parents went to the hospital to visit someone. We played two rounds inside the house and two in the yard. It wasn't fair, though, and I kept getting discovered because I was bigger and couldn't fit into the best hiding places.

After that, we blew bubbles, colored on the driveway with chalk, and walked down to the park to swing. The 6-year-old had lost his computer privileges because of a behavioral issue with his mother, so we reverted back to the activities of my childhood, which, if you ask me, were a lot more fun than sitting at a PC on a pretty day.
