[Mississippi Steve]

Being here in rural south Mississippi, things are a little different. I almost went with the nick of "Redneck Hippie" or some such like that. FWIW, I don't hunt, but am an expert marksman. I like guns, I have a small collection, I like to shoot them. Mostly punching holes in targets, blowing up bottles and soda cans, and recently hit an orange at 1/4 mile with the first shot. There are a lot of things that happen here that don't happen in the "big city".... In the big city you never hear "Hey Bubba, hold my beer and watch this!!"(this is also a good time to run for cover). Here in the *REAL* south, the 2 scariest holidays are the 4th of July and New Years Eve.... it has to do with the combination of rednecks, alcohol, and explosives.

theres this stuff i use called "animal get away" its in a blue spray bottle and is made by "Havahart" its worked great so far. just spray it around your plants and on the outside of the pots

I'm not a hunter. I've never shot an animal in my life. But if there were deer trampling over my fucking plants I'd be more than willing to sit outside my place with a loaded rifle. Damn things are so stupid. I can't tell you how many times I've almost hit one, driving around here. It's like they want to die.

the BEST way that the deer will never even get close to your plant is chicken wire.. i like my plot to be double wrapped because deer devastated 11 plants in my last plot..
