i would have to say either jersey mike's or lenny's. i used to live in tuscaloosa, alabama, and that's the only place i've ever seen a jersey mike's - but there may be more. and lenny's is fandamntastic. that's pretty much the only place i go for subs now

My wife works in Jersey a couple of days a week, and will ask her co-workers in Jersey what they call them.

Quiznos is the best! I dont eat their alot because i find it expensive but i love how they do the sandwiches. Everubody should taste them atleast once.

I love them all. I got hooked on Subway, because there was one in my dorm hall. But the best I have had is a local sub shop in Springfield,IL called Head West Sub Shop.

I love subs.

At my wife's job in Jersey, they have a bunch of menus from all kinds of food places that they order from. I asked her to xerox a bunch to see what they call them (heros or subs).

Sometimes they order pizza from Brooklyn - several of the guys will drive in and bring back 15 or 20 pies.

put "subs NJ" in google and a boat load of sub shops come up... My home town had a Sub Shop when I was 10...
