I feel for you! I am in the same boat! I know what you mean about searching too. I've read so much my eyes are sore and still can't find the answers or they are in jargon I can't understand. Trial and error I reckon, try to pick up tips and make notes. I can only answer one question and I've said this lots today, so please no replies on "oh I've read that on 6 different threads..." I stuck 10 seeds into soil for seedlings, you can buy that anywhere and popped them in a propegator with the inside temp about 25c. Day one saw the first and by day 4 I've got 9 3 inch seedlings. I just kept the lid on and sprayed once a day with water. If you use soil meant for seedlings the ph will be about 7 and that's just fine and you shouldn't need to feed for a few weeks yet. Course, at this stage I'm stuck and dunno what to do next!
