The reason I brought up my observation that you were from Quebec in the first place is because somebody mentioned you sounded like 13 or something because of how your posts read. I have a few friends from Quebec that I talk to on the internet so I knew its not so much an issue of age and maturity as translation and language-barriers.

Oh and as far as the rest of Cananananananada goes... FUCK THE HATERS. Who cares if somebody else doesnt like you, much less why. If they hate on you because youre French or because you have something they dont, then that makes them just as much of a racist bigot as the sterotypical southern KKK redneck. The fact that they hate you for such a silly reason displays their ignorance for all to see. When confronted by blatant racism like that I like laughing right in its face. Its funny to me because instead of hearing racially-charged comments, I hear:

"oh pardon me... I just wanted to say that I am ill-educated and ignorant. I was most likely raised to hate you for a small variety of groundless reasons that doubtless you cant help or change. And when you laugh in the face of hatred... then THEY get pissed off. Which is beautiful because all theyre trying to do is piss you off.. you get mad, they win. So when you laugh, then they get mad and YOU win lol its beautiful.


As far as the girl and her mother goes.. Her mother is threatened by you. It sounds almost identical to my last girl and her mother. Assuming its the same, her mother is harbouring a possibly unhealthy obsession with her daughter as that was the deal in my case. My ex was the only girl (and the first child at that) and her mom couldnt accept the fact that her daughter was growing up. She wanted to be mommy and have her mommy/littlegirl relationship for the rest of her life and all that was triggered as soon as she realized we were serious. When we first started dating she was all about it.. my exes last boyfriends were worthless assholes, and then here I come ya know? Her mom was so happy there was somebody out there that loved her daughter and treated her right. Then she started changing her opinion. She began assuming that since her daughter was getting more and more serious about the relationship, then to her that meant her daughter was going to begin breaking away from her family and eventually just never talk to them again or some similar absurdly incorrect conclusion. Then she began trying to force her to spend time with her all the time.. became terribly overbearing.. it was horrible. Her desparation caused her to be blind to the fact that the more she tried tighten her grip, the more of her daughter would squeeze through her fingers. And yes I just turned a Star-Wars quote into a metaphor of my own design :P

You might not want to hear this, but there was the same age difference between me and mine as you and yours. And in fact we started our 4 year relationship at the same ages as you two. My opinion would be to just let that one go. Its possible that you and her could end up having a relationship, but her mother would most definitely put an unbearable amount of stress on the girl, and possibly kick her out. Just because thats her daughter doesnt mean she wouldnt make such an emotionally unstable move. Ive seen worse happen under even more absurd circumstances. If you really have these feelings for this girl then just back off a bit. You dont have to drop her altogether, but just realize what kind of effect the worst-case scenario could have on this girl. Keep things friendly and neutral until you feel things out better. That would be my advice.
