Iv'e created a post like this one but i guess this is a little more open then my thread about the stock market.I WANT TO BE A DAY TRADER.I could do it today but I don't have alot of money to invest...


Does anyone else know about the stock market what's hot and whear it is going I would love a second opinion on this topic to get another input so far it has just been me...

currently, i am a industrial engineering major at Georgia Tech. i don't know what i want to do with this degree, but eventually (perhaps, not right away) i want to settle down as a high school calculus teacher.

but, just some other in-general long-term goals in life...

i want to go to mardi gras in new orelans this upcoming february
i want to go to savannah, ga, for st. patrick's day this upcoming march
i want to go on a roadtrip across the country next summer, perhaps hitting lousiville, sandusky OH (cedar point theme park), chicago, minneapolis, mt rushmore, st louis, perhaps even going westward though i'm not sure... the west coast might have to be a separate trip...
i want to climb mount kilimanjaro, the tallest point in africa
i want to go to all seven continents
i want to run a marathon (26.2 miles)
i want to speak spanish very well
i want to make out with my girl in a pouring downpour
i want to own a square/rectangular analog-wristwatch because i think they're badass

All I know is that I'm moving to NYC, bartending and gonna make art..

If I get sick of that, I'm off to Philly..sick of that, Chicago...sick of that, I'll be off to another city.

I'm older than most of you guys, so I'm in a little different place. My goals when I was your age were to finish school and get married and have a family, and my dream was to study medicine so I could work in that field. I finished the first part of my schooling long ago. I have a well-functioning, happy marriage/family. I worked at a professional career I liked for nearly two decades, which I ended last year so I could start medical school at the age of 44. So I think I'm doing with my life what I want to, which is a nice thing to be able to say.

My big goal for the rest of the life is to keep studying what I'm studying now, get out and practice medicine, see my husband and son continue to succeed in their ventures, enjoy good health and a long life, and BE A GRANDMOTHER!! I need grandbabies real bad. It's a little early for that. But it's my favorite long-term goal.

Some kind of spiritual awakening.

Get answers to some of the questions I have about myself that are already in me I just have to search for them until I find them.

Travelling and gaining insight.

Being closer to people I know and connecting more easily to people I don't, even if it means I confront thing's about myself that I may find very uncomfortable and difficult to accept.

Friends I actually respect.


Learn the true value of my ego and where it would best be applied to serve my solar purpose.

Perhaps create a new philisophical theory one day. Perhaps become a professional poker player. First thing i wanna do is finish my 2nd year of A2 then go to Amsterdam university somehow and study philosophy. Then, i mite try and be a dealer at a casion, preferably a poker dealer. Maybe i'll have learned the guitar by then and magically wrote a few good songs. I shall be judged apon my actions, not my thoughs.
