Does pot ever make things worse for you?

I'm not talking about a bad trip. I'm talking about when you had a really bad day at work, or at home, and you smoke a joint thinking it will relax you, when in fact it just makes you go paranoid or crazy and you end up feeling worse than how to started.

Is it just me, or does that happen to anyone else around here?

i get what you're saying and i think that's only ever happened to me once...just about anytime I smoke it manages to change the situation for the better.

I have never experienced anything like that, but my sister does almost every time she smokes.

pot has never changed my feelings...it only washes them away. I do not get violent...of course..... i do not get sad....i do not get happy..i do not get anything...that is the only problem. that is why moderation with all drugs is important.
If you cannot both control the amount you smoke and still enjoy it at the same time....ya need to take a break.

I get what your saying. but it does not affect me in that way..it helps break down the walls inside my head that block me from seeing things the way they are and not the way that I percieve them to be.

It can alter my perception and magnify my emotions or numb them. Very versitile. But yeah it's happened to me before, but not very often now.

ive been sick for a week and a half or so, and ive been smoking a good amount thinking itll make me feel better, but 2 of the 3 times ive smoked its just made my throat hurt and given me a shitty headache, so ya it happens but proly only cause im sick already.
