Anyone Breed there own benifical bacteria?
So I made a bio bucket for breeding bacteria and have a question for anyone that has done it before. It smells kinda of like ammonia its been going for about 2 weeks I would think that is would smell like ass if the bacteria were dead is the amonia smell something they produce or is it bad. They create enzymes as a byproduct maybe that is what I smell.
As far as the unit goes its basicly (2) 5 gal buckets with lids the bottom is a rez. the top holds a bunch of rapid rooters and hydroton I have a small pump that is connected to a waterfarm loop that is constanly on.u.g.u Reviewed by u.g.u on .
