So I was just curious how my fellow stoners approach diet and nutrition. erm.... yeah I'm a stoner again, lol. I only smoke little bits about once-twice a week, no need for more, but it's enjoyable as long as I do it no more that. Anywhoo...

I'm pretty obsessive about the nutrition. I check the nutrients on all the packaged food I eat and make sure everything's balanced out. It's really not as difficult as it sounds, it's just become habbit and I don't feel like it's a burden at all.

I mainly eat fruits and vegetables. Veggies have their own unique nutrients, so they're important, but IMO fruits kick-ass because they have tonnes of energy in them too and lots of nutrients. So they're my main foods. Otherwise I have one serving of carbohydrates (usually rice, potatoes, or oats since I'm gluten-intollerant), and one or two servings of proteins (bacon and eggs, chicken, salmon). So far this type of diet has been perfect for me.

In the way of vitamins, I take 400IU Vitamin-E a day with 3-4 grams Vitamin-C throughout the day. I've done plenty of research on the subject and that much C is quite good for you, not at all as extreme as it may seem. Sadly, the FDA Recommended VC dose is based on having enough to avoid scurvey, that's about it.
