Knowledge desert, thirsty brain
I wasn't saying to change our medical science. I just think the world is fucked up in general.
I don't really believe in any government, and anarchism doesn't suit me either. Something like (please forgive this oxy-moron) An anarchy with minor laws, to protect a person's individual freedom.
Not saying that, that type of government(or pretty much lack there of) would make things like that happen less often, but it would make a crime such as that heinous to the utmost extent of the word. And the punishment swift and severe.
We shouldn't give up on furthering our knowledge, but we should find a better way of protecting a person's *individual* rights to live and have utter freedom upon his or her own self. Any physical damage to a person.*i don't mean mental damage, that would have to be accepted unless it was harassment* is harming a person, thereby limiting their freedom in some way by use of corporal punishment.
That is just the way I see it though.wayoftheleaf Reviewed by wayoftheleaf on . Knowledge desert, thirsty brain Anyone else get the feeling that our society is becoming too anti-intellectual? In my frustration I wrote a poem about it. Knowledge desert, thirsty brain, I'm the one who feels this strain. Ignorami bumbling by, Drooling, blank stares in the eye, Noises coming from their necks On fashion, sports, T.V. and sex. On matters of some real import I speak my mind, but no retort. Rating: 5
