Not as great in orchestral situations, where everyone has to play exactly what's written out. I end up bored.
Youre very right.. when stoned we are so much more creative... out of the box ideas just pop in the head and through the arms into the instrument it seems. However when you must play exactly what is written, it does get harder because you want to throw in a fill every fuckin 20 seconds lol. I try not to get bored but if the song is too easy then yea I get bored.
GraziLovesMary Reviewed by GraziLovesMary on . playing music while high I'm a drummer, and I swear I come up with the sweetest groves and the coolest rythyms when I've got a cannabis buzz going. Anyone other musicians have that experience? I'm not sure if it just sounds better to me (but in reality sounds the same or worse), or if it actually *is* better playing. With alcohol, a lot of the time it sounds better to me, but it isn't actually better to a sober person. I'm gonna test this by having some buddies record me in their studio before being high and Rating: 5
