I am wanting to clone in soil. In the FAQs there is only a bubble grower/aerothingymajig.
I have superthrive, clonex, root powder and ferts.
How do I clone them in soil, would it be better for me to buy some rock wool cubes?stone_sensation Reviewed by stone_sensation on . Cloning I am wanting to clone in soil. What you would do is buy rockwool cubes and take your cuttings, dip them in your cloning solution and keep them on a surface under a humidity dome until the roots are coming out of the cubes enough for them to be just watered in soil, then you can bury them in your soil

Ok so my cloning solution is clonex and root powder? And could I build my own humidity dome?

Well yeah, and I don't know about using gel and powder. I guess that could work but I'd just use one and stick to it. I hear Clonex is a very good product for clones. Just look for a Propagation Tray with a humidity dome.

I bought 35 rockwool cubes in a propagation tray. Now i need to find a humidity dome. I didn't know that the cubes go straight into soil lol do they degrade?

Also is a humidity dome just a big transparent plastic case ontop of a black tray? Because I'm sure I could make that myself?

I just looked on b&q and it says £50 i really can't afford that. Could I get a black tray and put a transparent dome on top? like the ones they use in kitchens?
