Ugh..the vain in my forhead is going to explode. Its like talking to a brick wall. It doesn't matter what I say. I could start giving links and stories and all of that good stuff but it doesnt matter. Its a lost cause! Its like, if someone came up to one of us with a bunch of cannabis facts that were miconstrude we would argue, right? Sure but some people don't and or wont hear your side.

Animal Rights Uncompromised:
PETA's Tactics
PETA's aim is to stop animal suffering, and we use every available opportunity to reach people with our messages. Our gimmicks may sometimes seem silly, but they are vital if we are to reach the masses and initiate discussion, debate, questioning of the status quo, and, of course, action. The current situation is critical for billions of animals, and our goal is to make the public aware of the issuesâ??even if it means stripping for our "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" Campaign.
The fact is that in this tabloid era, the media usually do not consider the facts alone interesting enough to cover. Colorful and controversial gimmicks, howeverâ??such as jumping on stage at a fashion show to protest a designer's shameless promotion of furâ??consistently grab headlines, bringing the animal rights message to audiences around the country and often the world.
Experience has taught us that provocative and controversial campaigns make the difference between keeping important yet depressing subjects invisible and exposing them to the public.
PETA makes a point of offering something for all tastes-from the most conservative to the most radical and from the most outrageous to the most refined-and this approach has proved to be very successful. In the quarter-century since PETA was founded, it has grown into the largest animal rights group in the world, with more than 1.6 million members and supporters worldwide. PETA has achieved countless victories for animals as a result of both undercover investigations supported by careful documentation and a tireless pursuit of justice through the courts and through colorful demonstrations, stunts, and campaigns that drew international media coverage to previously hidden issues.

Rebgirl you should come to Norfolk. You would love our mindset and the fact that PETA is right in the middle of it. Their headquarters is a beautiful place actually. Amazing harbour view.

I guess we both feel that way then. What do you say when the top members of your organization make these types of claims? Are you saying that they didn't make these claims? Or are you saying that dosnt represent most of the organization. If you pick the second one then I suggest you find another animals rights group because PETA is not accurately representing your opinions.
