You could try nailing on some hardboard sheeting or try stapling on some cardboard or medium strong polythene black refuse sacks are good this will give you cover without adding much more weight.

Building a Paintball course I'm building a paintball course in my backyard this weekend, i got about 12 wood en pallets and random other barrier type things for it.
