my girlfriend just told me yesterday shes finally decided to buy one. weve been meaning to get them forever now.

my friend got an awesome shwinn beach cruiser for around 100 or 150 bucks. hes customized it a lot..he has all sorts of handlebars, a springer fork to absorb shock, chopped and customized fenders, all this craziness.

The problem that I am having is deciding the quality of bikes... So back on track - Is $99.00 going to get a decent bike that will last me or should I invest a little more, suck it up, and eventually be happy that I spent the extra money?
