Giuliani Hammers Democrats on Terrorism

NEW CASTLE, N.H. -- Rudolph Giuliani refused to relent Wednesday morning in what has become a regular assault on Democrats, particularly their commitment to and understanding of the terrorist threat against America.

At a town hall meeting in New Castle, Giuliani flatly accused Democrats of "ignoring terrorism." As an example, he said there had been no mention at the Democratic debate Sunday of the recent foiled terrorist plots in New Jersey and at JFK airport.

"I believe they don't want to talk about it because they want to make sure that President Bush doesn't get credit for anything," he told the crowd of about 150 at a meeting hall outside of Portsmouth.

Later, he criticized the leading Democratic presidential candidates by name, deriding them as backward-looking politicians and predicted any of the three would raise taxes if elected president.

"It's like a car. Our car is moving forward. Our car is trying to go to a destination called the future. Here is what Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards want to do. They want to take that car and put it in reverse...They want to go back to the golden age of the 1990s."

He added, sarcastically, "Oh, things were great in the 1990s. Your taxes were 24-25 percent higher. Would you like that to happen again? Do you want to pay 24-25 percent more to messed up Washington? Do you want to do that? Then you better not vote for a Democrat."

Giuliani's comments were a continuation of a theme he tried to establish in Tuesday night's GOP debate. In one of his first answers to CNN host Wolf Blitzer, Giuliani heaped criticism on Democrats for their foreign policy positions.

"The problem the Democrats make is they're in denial," the former New York mayor said during the debate. "That's why you hear things like you heard in the debate the other night, that, you know, Iran really isn't dangerous; it's 10 years away from nuclear weapons."

Maybe Rudy's beliefs about abortion,pissed God off..after all,doesn't he believe that it's a personal choice for a woman to decide whether or not she wants to murder her child ? That God has no part in that choice ? That in such a situation,the woman temporarily becomes God,jury,judge and executioner ? How can any man or woman,tell God to step aside while they murder God's child ? Maybe God was sending us a message,that we best choose a leader who won't condone and support,the wave of baby killing that's been going on since 1973 and has resulted in the murders of over 40 million children.. ?

Exploitation for personal gain is just that no matter what the venue. These others that I've mentioned have filled thier pockets off the same subject.

Rudy is playing the part of a typical politician. We all KNOW that 99% of politicians are crooks so this should come as no big suprise. Personally, I expect more out of journalists than I do politicians.

scraping millions upon millions of dollars up from the deadliest attack on US soil is typical? yeah, right...maybe for bush's administration, but that's not what american democracy is. I can distinctly remember american government and our government functions nothing like I've learned.
