Games now on disc based formats cost last gen only $40-$50 and this gen have increased to $60. If you were to figure inflation, we should be paying MUCH MUCH more for games today. The reason we don't is because of disc based media being cheaper than carts. Game prices raised about $10 this last gen because game development costs have risen to near movie level production prices.
