I dont mind using dirt,
Ill just put it in a larger pot.
Considering how I'm building everything,
I have around 150-200 dollars to spend,
I already bought 2 computer fans with AC adaptors,
and I already bought 3 100 Watt CFLs.
I have a carbon scrubber all ready built,
so my only thing holding me back is the seeds.

Also which plant should I be growing?
I was thinking northern lights, as they seem to be noob friendly,
but Ill only have 36 inches of height space to work with,
and 9 inches of depth.
The length of my box will be 50-60 inches though.

Would you guys recommend I go with Option B, and grow 2 (?) Northern Lights plants?

Hello everyone, Im new here and didnt want to bother you guys without doing my research so I did all I could before posting. Im only going to have 1-2 plants because of very limited space. I had two ideas, Option A was taking a small fish tank I have and covering the sides with mylar, then taking a thicker peice of cardboard thus sealing the fishtank. Then I would put a compact fluorescent bulb (27 watt) to the top. I hooked up a outdoor christmas light timer to the bulb, so that way Rating: 5
