when 2 flush?
I'm in week 6 of budding of an unknown jamaican strain that is being grown in
coco coir and i had some ??? about flushing ..here goes,
We're planning on flushing 2 wks before harvest.
Should we flush out all nutrients? such as phospherous, greening/budding
solution and also i've been using "sweet" should this be continued until the
end or should this be flushed at some point too?
thanks in advance...

yup, go ahead and flush it all away - sugars will make your smoke harsh - also, quite a few of the pros are now doing the last 2 weeks in darkness, or at least, cutting light to 4 hours or so - theory is, the plant, thinking it's life is spent, hurriedly tries to produce resin for its protection - jury is still out on this one - I light-deprived the final week, in my last grow, didn't notice any difference - :smokin:

Flushing should be done ONLY when the plants have been poluted in whatever manner and should not be a routine thing.
For a clean product at harvest, all you need to do is stop all additives but water 2-3 weeks before harvest and I also like to give them only as much water as needed to keep them alive while they "self-clean". Nothing but the cleanest, PH corrected water you can find and that alone will be a proper "flush" and a method much safer than possibly drowning your roots needlessly and causing an early harvest.
