So this story starts off by me working at subway til close on monday. a girl ive been talking to lately stopped by and stayed with me til close, we chilled in the back for a while... and lets just say it took me 2 hours longer to close than it normally should

so as im leaving at near midnight, i call up a friend of mine, and say hey man i got some stories to tell ya, wanna blaze?

course he says yea so i pick him up and we head to a what we thought was a reasonable chill spot.

we both pack up a bowl and after we finish he lights up a cig. (good thing as they cover smell pretty well). as i start the car, these bright ass lights shine right into the car.

so im thinking shit its the wo po (worthington police... catchy huh?), "yo man slowly grab my bowl out of my glove box and stash it under my seat"

he does it without moving his shoulders and im thinking alright heres my chance to shine. the cop comes to the drivers side window. asking so many questions im surprized he didnt stop to catch his breath. he first started asking how we knew about this place, my friend was light on his feet and said that his sister lived right in the next neighborhood which was true. and that we were going to spend the night at his house later and were just chilling. he was 18 so it was all good for him, both showed him our ids and he was bitching at me for being out past curfew by like 30 mins.

he asked if there was anything illegal in the car weapons or substances, and we immediately said no sir, full confidence and no hesitation.

he pulled me out of the car and put me against the car and began to search me, at first i was reluctant but i didnt have anything on me so i let him have his fun. he put me in the back of the cruiser and damn are those seats uncomfortable. he went and talked to my friend a bit then came back. he called my parents and woke my mom up. she was pissed and told him to tell me to come right home after dropping my friend off.

the whole time he kept saying, i have you out past curfew (basically i can arrest you for this if i want to) so his whole investigation was valid. he finally let me go by giving the conclusion speech "dont let me catch you on my watch again, if i do your going to the station".

so i drove my friend home, peaced outta there and went home. didnt even get grounded, but my dad said hes gonna start checking up on me more, and making sure he knows where i am and if i dont answer his calls im fucked....


in a way i love that feeling, lying to the police and getting away with it. testing myself to stay calm in a tight situation, acting normal even tho im ripped. it was such a rush.

damn i hate cops like that, i woulda been a lot more pissed then you are, im pretty sure he couldnt just search you and shit like that just for being out past curfew, but i dont know the laws by yyou so idk.

one thing i respect about your story is that you wrote in a comprehendible way unlike many other stories that come up here... Ive never been pulled over but ive had my fair share of close calls. I figure ill share one cause everyone likes stories. Theres a hill near my high school called "the black hill" obviously its a black hill, but this is where me and my friends often hang out, and also where we and many others smoke pot. So one day im walking down this hill with a buddy of mine at lunch and maybe 8 or 9 kids coming running past me ( one holding a lit bowl). Im really stoned at this point but i had already blazed at a different spot and put all my shit in my pack. Needless to say i was a bit sketched out because i had nothing to do with that and i had an eight sitting comfortably in the main section of my backpack. All these kids looked and dressed like me so even though me and my buddy were the only ones walking he assumed we were with them. He tells us to stop and we turn around and wait for him to come down the hill a bit. He basically asks us what were doing and if we know those kids. Of course we say no, however he obviously expected that answer and continued to question us. He Then looks me in the eyes and says get out of here and i wont search you. Of couse my eyes were really bloodshot but w/e i got away with it . Most cops in my town are douchebags but for some reason he was nice that day.

Generally, if your in a car, you can be out as late as you want. In my town, the curfew for minors is 12:00, but if you're in a car, you can be out as long as you want.

Yeah, for some reason I always have the best and the worst luck with cops. Examples (these happened within about a week of eachother,) so a couple of weeks ago, me and some friends decide to go swimming at a local pool. It's maybe 12:30 or 1:00, middle of the night, but this pool is really easy to sneak in to. So, we call some girls and meet up over there. EVERYONE there is pretty fucked up, and we were being really loud, so I guess a neighbor called the police. Someone yells: cops! And everyone runs off. I ran with a couple of friends, and we ended up hiding in a bush in someone's front yard. Then we remembered that someone we were at this pool with lives right near there, so we give her a call, and we heard her voice on the other side of the fence from us! So, we go in to her house, and after a while decide to try and go back to our car. We head out through the side of the house and we're standing in the side yard, and one of my friends hops the fence and runs. I'm like "what the fuck?" And then, of course, that bright fucking spotlight shines in my eyes and I hear: I see you. You're not going anywhere." I didn't have any pants or shoes on at that point, so I knew he was right, and me and another friend and two of these girls just walked over to his car. He started talking to us about curfew and about how he had a complaint that someone had broken into the pool, and he recorded all our information. There were so many cop cars, like at least 5 or 6, just circling the block along with the two that were pulled over near us. He's asking us if we were at the pool (we're still pretty wet,) and we're trying to deny it. Usually cops just threaten people with curfew tickets, but they had actually just given some to two other girls that were like three houses down on the sidewalk. But then the mom of the girl whose house we had been at vouches for us that we are staying there, so they let us go. Nothing ruins a high more than trying to face down a cop.


STORY 2
So I'm leaving this girls party, where I had partaken of 2 bong bowls and most of a bottle of vodka, and me and some friends end up at this park. I don't why people go there considering th cops roll through every night and the area is really exposed, but it's just where everyone goes. So I'm sitting in my friend's truck when the cops roll up. I'm trying to play it cool, sitting in the car, but my friend is nowhere to be seen. I decide (stupidly) to stumble out and get in another friend's car. Next thing I know, a cop is banging on the window with his flashlight, asking me to open the door. As soon as I open the door, he very forcefully grabs me by the wrist and yanks me out of the car. He pulls me over to the cop car, where he actually forces my hands behind my back and bends me over the hood of the cop car. I thought I was gonna get cuffed. Instead, I look over and see his partner going through my wallet, which I didn't even notice him taking. I am the only one, out of like 20 or 30 people, that the cops are talking to. The rest were told to sit on the curb and wait. Eventually, he lets go of my wrists and tells me to hold my head still and follow his finger with my eyes. Let me tell you, this was fucking difficult. i don't think I once managed to do it without moving my head. So he asks me, "Have you been drinking tonight?" I said no, and he told me "Your eyes don't lie son." I didn't even know what to say, I thought I was fucked. I must have reeked of weed and alcohol. Then, he just tells me to sit on the curb with my friends. He confers with his partner, and the just let us all go. I don't know how I got so lucky.

I've only been caught by the popo's once, in london, so it wasn't even bad. They rolled up on me and my friend smoking a joint, we were on some stairs behind a building. Before this, we had smoked succesfully, for about 8 months every day LOL. So, they come up, we had no where to run. They just took me benz and my friend had like a gram. Nothing more ever happened. But after that, i go and buy another benz (1.7g) and we roll up a joint, this is in a different spot, in an alley near my college. anyway, we see some cops again, so we ran lol and got away and finished the J somewhere else. It's like london buses in a way. 2 come a long at once, just like we went 8 months or so without ever being caught we could've gotten caught twice in an under an hour, ha. But, yeah, i'm stealthy anyway.

Oh yeah! The other day me and my 4 friends are in a park and we just sparked a joint, out of no where, this cop jeep is following us on the grass. They stop us and are like, 'where's the booze, you know what we're talking about.' We said we don't even have any booze and were just walking to go play football, partly true, just with a joint on the way. Yeah, so my friend had to put out the J on his hand while talking to the cop and he said it hurt lol. But then the cop apologised and said have a nice day, so he was chill. There were 3 cops in the car and 4 of us but only 1 cop got out and he didn't even search us or smell ganja.

I've walked past so many cops with bud and while high it's farcical. I mainly smoke in my house, but if i'm in public smoking a j with nothing on me then nothing can really happen. Even if i had a small amount they'd just take it most likely and smoke it themselves.

You realize if you haven't done anything wrong you have the right to consent to searches right? It's your 4th amendment right. He had no right to search you if you didn't do anything wrong. Regardless to what ever threats he may give after that or attitude he may display he has no right to do anything to you and could not have it his way, if you didn't let 'em. If he had to ask if there was anything in the car obviously there was nothing in clear sight for him to make any type of positive assumptions. Unless it smelled like weed (which I'm guessing the cigarette covered) he didn't really have a reasonable cause. Curfew is one thing but that other shit is just wrong in my eyes.
