My first real grow.. few Q's
Hey guys. I got four plants on 12/12 in my flowering room. (This is my first successfull grow) i have been growing for a bit now on and off, but this is my first real grow. Anyways, i got four plants (white widow and bob marleys best) flowering under a 150watt hps.. (strongest light i can use for my situation because of no real ventilation) all are different times into flowering my question is about the big on in the picture with the biggest buds.. its whitw widow, and i think i may of overferted it in early stages of flowering its now at week 6 so still has 2 weeks to go.. my question is the leaves have a huge problem they're all yellowing, with spots and dying off even the ones with resin glands on have started to get little dots and go yellowish.. the buds look ok.. but this leaf problem is worrying its real dominant in this plant and is staring to afftect the other big plant slightly.. i want to know what it is, how to stop it.. if it will affect the buds or not. Also as this is my first grow any general tips etc would greatly be appriciated. Also the plant in the middle has leaves which curl underwards im pretty damn sure thats not over watering as i wait untill the soil dries out to water.. so why are they curling like that? any general pointers im looking for can u let me know how its going for a first/messy grow, next one will be much better as i have learnt alot from this. Anyways thanks for any replies.

it is the nutes beeing sucked out, if you see leaves around the budsites yellowing, THEN you have a problem.

leaf yellowing is normal it is due to low nitrogen this occurs in the flowering stage due to the fact that flowering nutes are low in n. plants dont need much nitrogen through fowering stage and eventually they all fall off . so you see it is a natural process

My first real grow.. few Q's
I know its normal for the leaves to turn yellow and drop off couple weeks prior to harvest, but my problem is it started out to be the fan leaves and now some of the leaves sticking out of the buds are yellowing (ones with resin glands on).. the buds look fine maybe a little fluffy but thats just from inexperience.. its just the leaves... i dont think its the natural process at all, look at the pictures a bit more closely and you'll see what i mean... thanks for the help.

My first real grow.. few Q's
Hey i was using Orchid Bloom ferts the first couple of weeks into flowering and i think i did overfert because the leaves started to look yellow with dots on. I flushed it a couple times and proceeded to water it with ph balanced water from then on.. the yellowing stopped for awhile but now its appearing around the bud sites, which is real worrying.
The orchid bloom fert i used about 3 - 4 times every watering i used half the recommended dose and gradually built it up to a full dose..
My question is why is it still producing messed up leaves around the bud sites? will it affect the overall bud, and can i still smoke the nute burnt leaves because they are caked in resin???
thanks alot!

it might taste like shit if there is a bunch of chemicals in the leaf, if not go ahead, it should get you high.

hey man, ive been haveing the same exact problem as you. i dont know what it is either. it was fine and then all of a sudden theres these little yellow dots on the leaves right? then it slowly turns yellow and falls off. i am also experiencing yellowing around the buds. i dont know what the hell it is. my leaves are also curling under. i dont know why, i fugured overwatering maybe but, like urself, its not possible. i will join u in your quest for help, as i could use some too. im using a 175 watt hps, with 2 of those high output energy efficient flouros. how far away do u keep em? i assume u grow in a closet as well?

Yeah, falling leaves are normal.. but something looks wrong.. not devastating... but probably to late to fix.. cause it looks like you ar nearly done budding...?
You said that your plants are at different stages in their 12/12.. correct?
But yet they are all experiencing this yellowing... correct?
Can you show me a picture of the YOUNGEST plant and tell me how long it is into budding..
Have you looked very closely for bugs?
don't be sad.. they look great for a 150 : )
