now for the other part of that movie...you have a three gallon jug and a five gallon jug, how do you get four gallons ?

fill the 5 gallong completely full.

pour the 5 gallons into the 3 gallons. leaving 2 gallons in the 5 gallon jug.

empty the 3 gallon jug.

pour the 2 gallons from the 5 gallon jug into the 3 gallon jug. leaving 1 gallon free

fill the 5 gallon completely full, pour the one gallon from the 5 intot he 3 leaving you with 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug.



muahahah, i havent seen that movie in so long but that was fun to figure out.
